exactly how art should be

Evermore Arts Collective produced art events featuring emerging Colorado artists throughout the year of 2022. Evangeline Ivy founded the LLC after graduating college in 2021 to help create opportunities for her fellow recent-graduate artists to showcase their work. (Many college programs had to cancel their students’ final showcases and thesis presentations in 2020 and 2021.) The collective’s other administration team members included Jacob John Noon, Dylan Ivy, and Hannah Sarine.

These particular few years were a very daunting time to be entering the work force — especially in the arts. The combination of political unrest, global heath concerns, and environmental damage were ultimately what inspired the name of this collective. Through the toughest times, art can help heal and unify us. While the uncertainty of the future will be ever-present, art must be prioritized so we can continue to explore and express our humanity.

576 patrons

In 2022, Evermore Arts Collective featured 55 Colorado artists through book publishing, live music, live dance, short film, artisan cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and silent art auctions. Evermore Arts Collective produced 4 live events and hosted 576 patrons at 3 different venues in 2022.

The collective prioritized environmental sustainability by purchasing and borrowing second-hand event supplies, serving all vegetarian and vegan catering at events, using compostable dishware, and carbon offsetting the estimated milage driven by patrons and artists to attend events and rehearsals.

At the end of 2022, the company decided that the mission it had set out accomplish was successful; the collective members who’s showcases and productions were canceled in 2020 and 2021 were able to give their art new opportunities to be shared and enjoyed by the community.

Wether or not Evermore Arts Collective will host again in the future is not certain, but what is certain is that art must prevail, for evermore.
